Proudly NZARB Accredited Arborists

We are certified arborists, adhering to all MBIE best practice guidelines, meeting all environmental and health, and safety compliance in all aspects of vegetation management and removal.  

In January 2020 we were assessed by the NZ Arboricultural Association to become an approved contractor. This is the highest approval stamp within our industry. We are now one of only three South Island Approved Contractors through the New Zealand Arboricultural Association (NZArb) Inc. This means you can trust our practices, compliance, safety, and experience.  We have been recognized within our own industry to have met quality assurance standards and a high level of professionalism. 

The NZ Arboricultural Association assessment criteria require a certain level of the industry, arboricultural and legislative knowledge, practical ability combined with proven client service and business systems.

Reporting on the process, the Association summarised, “It was difficult not to be extremely impressed by the applicant’s management and business ethos and of their very professional and dedicated team. We have no hesitation in recommending that the Tree People be appointed as a New Zealand Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor.”
