Most tree care companies simply chop, cut, and call the job done. The TREE PEOPLE is not like ‘most’ tree care companies. Started by Ra and Megan Hammer in 2004, THE TREE PEOPLE knew, early on, that their ethos was different.
They knew that tree care could be done sustainably and economically and wanted to prove it. Their team of passionate and experienced arborists has trained and worked in places as varied as London and Hamburg and integrate best practices from all over the world into their work.
Clear business goals
Megan and Ra had some clear goals in mind when they started the business:

Speaking with passion about what he does, co-founder and owner Ra Hammer shares,
”We combine the science and art of tree care with technical experience, passion, advanced equipment, and sustainable practices. We had some very clear goals when we started the business that we still ‘live by’ today. It was important to us to preserve and maintain trees sustainably, to provide an environment that helps our customers to enjoy harmonious relationships with their trees, to offer excellent affordable tree care, and to always adhere to best practice to continue to learn, grow and improve. I am proud to say that, 16 years later, we still live and breathe these goals.
Ra trained as an arborist in London. Later, he moved to Germany to hone his skills and learn from some of the world’s best arborists there. Ra has a deep passion for trees and the environment and wants to help his customers care for their trees in a holistic, sustainable way. He is delighted to share his knowledge and experience to help wherever he can.
